The next meeting will be held this coming Fall. We will be discussing the output of 3 committees: Collaboration, Racks and Safety The mission of the FGLC Association is to take a leadership role in the ongoing improvement in the safe and efficient flow of Flat Glass throughout the entire supply chain. The Flat Glass Logistics Council's overall global objective is to improve product availability to the consumer by providing leadership and encouragement in the identification, development and implementation of voluntary guidelines, protocols, best practices, standards and other mechanisms which might be required to support the Council’s Mission. Such mechanisms, when properly utilized, are expected to lead to safer, more reliable movement, and better anticipation of, and reaction to, changes in consumer demand for these products with the subsequent optimization of transportation, Inventory levels and information flows.
